Dear Valued Merchant,

On May 22, 2005, LinkPoint International, the company that manages your Internet gateway transaction processing, migrated the gateway from its Burbank, California location to a First Data-managed site in Denver, Colorado.  As you may be aware, some merchant accounts experienced issues as a result of the migration and were maintained in Burbank while we resolved the operating issues in the Denver environment.  LinkPoint has worked diligently to manage the situation and virtually all issues resulting from this migration have been resolved.

We are contacting you at this time because you are still currently processing at least some of your transactions in the older Burbank environment.  To complete the overall migration effort, we are transitioning the remaining Burbank accounts to the Denver site and deactivating Burbank.  Linkpoint will begin the final deactivation of the remaining stores processing on the Burbank production site during the standard maintenance windows on September 11, 2005 and September 18, 2005.  Upon completion of this final stage of the migration program all stores will be fully activated for processing on our Denver production site.

Please refer to the items below that describe your situation for further migration instructions.  If you fail to follow these instructions, you will be unable to process transactions when your Burbank store ID is deactivated.

1. For merchants that attempted to migrate to Denver, but were returned to Burbank due to issues experienced as a result of the migration:
Merchants will need to discontinue using the IP Addresses of the Burbank environment.  Use the appropriate host name and URL secure.linkpt.net or www.linkpoint.com to log into the web interface.  If you wish to set up a test store in Denver to validate your processing capabilities, you may request a test store here: https://www.staging.linkpointcentral.com/ABStaging.

2. For merchants processing with a Legacy LinkPoint API (Application Program Interface):
If you experienced problems with the migration and were informed you needed to complete a migration to the latest API, you need to download the appropriate version.  These APIs can be found at http://www.linkpoint.com/viewcart/down_index.htm. Prior to the May 22nd migration, your financial institution or merchant services provider should have notified you that the deadline to implement the latest API was June 15, 2005.  Therefore, all merchants who have not done so must migrate to the current API immediately.

3. For Merchants processing some transactions in both Burbank and Denver:
If some of your transactions are processed in both Burbank and Denver, then you are processing using the IP addresses for the Burbank environment.  Prior to the initial migration attempt, your financial institution or merchant services provider should have provided the correct domain names to integrate with your applications.  Prior to September 18, 2005, you will need to discontinue using the IP addresses for the Burbank environment.  Use the appropriate host name and secure.linkpoint.net or www.linkpoint.com to log into the web interface.
